Myton’s Geography department are running a photography competition and the prize is a £25 Amazon voucher. To enter students should take a photograph of something that represents ‘Geography on my doorstep’. The photograph can be related to Physical, Human or Environmental Geography; as long as it shows Geography is all around us. Entrants will also need to write a statement explaining their thinking behind the photo (50 words max).
The competition is open to all age groups (Year 7-Year 13) and there is a £25 Amazon voucher for first prize as well as runners-up prizes for second and third. GCSE and A level students can also be entered into a University of Birmingham competition for a further £100 Amazon voucher!
Please email your entries to Mr Larner – [email protected] – with a small description of the idea behind the photo (remember to include your name as part of the email). Alternatively you can bring your entry to Mr Larner in G4 using a USB/Hard Drive or a printed copy.
The closing date for the competition is Thursday 26 May 2016.
