Warwickshire Libraries are once again recruiting a team of young adult volunteers aged 13 to 19 to support their Summer Reading Challenge.
This national initiative encourages children aged 4-11 into public libraries, to keep up their reading skills and confidence. Volunteers act as inspiration to the children taking part by encouraging them to sign up, to enjoy reading and complete the challenge.
Volunteers need to give 10 to 15 hours of their time over the summer holidays in a participating library.
Volunteering will develop skills in communication, teamwork, marketing and promotion. If you are aged 13-19, love reading and want to share your enthusiasm with others go to Warwickshire County Council’s Library website for more information and to sign up.
