Congratulations to the Year 7 & Year 8 Athletics girls teams who finished second in the District Schools Athletics Competition on Tuesday.
Notable performances
- Faith Tooze won both the 100m and Hurdles
- Grace Fairweather won the 100m
- Abbie Blick won the Shot & came second in Discus
- Charlotte Booth came second in 200m & third in Shot
- Maddie Smith was second in Javelin & Discus
- Tia Norton was third in Javelin
- Millie Wiseman was third in 1500m
- Year 7 Relay team came second
- Year 8 Relay team came third
A fantastic overall team performance by two talented athletics teams.
The next competition for both the Year 7 & 8 girls is the Super 6 County Finals on Thursday 7 July.
