David Kelham retired last week as Myton School’s Chair of Governors after seven years in the role and ten years as a school governor. He has been succeeded by former Vice Chair, Diane Burley who was elected on Monday 19 September.
David said, “It has been a privilege to work with such dedicated staff and wonderful students. I am delighted that Diane is taking over and that she has the support of such a large and committed governing body drawn from staff, parents, former students and local business leaders.”
Head Teacher, Andy Perry said, “On behalf of the whole school community, I’d like to thank David for his many years of hard work, supporting our management team and seeing the school through some big changes. We wish him all the best for the future.”
