After 33 years of utter loyalty and commitment to Myton School, I would like to let you know that I am retiring on Friday 17th February.
I asked for a quiet end to the half term and the doors remain open for me to return to Myton at some time in the future. For now, it is time to put my own health, after my two major hip operations, and my wonderful family first. I have loved my time at Myton School and the profession from day 1 back in September 1984.
It has been a very emotional week as retirement approached, but I have 33 years of treasured memories of many fantastic colleagues, students and families – who have become some of my closest friends.
Good luck to each and every one of you for a happy and healthy future. With so much love to you all.
