On Thursday 16 March Myton School joined more than 900 schools across the UK making and broadcasting the news as part of BBC News School Report.

Students from Years 8 & 9 spent the day identifying, researching, investigating and recording news stories and covered topics as diverse as the dangers of litter, the health risks associated with skinny jeans, and whether there’s any truth in the ‘five second rule’.
