Jasmine Mountney from Greville House was part of a team of rowers who took part in a Junior Sculling Head on the Olympic Lake at Eton Dorney on Friday 24 March.

Steve Wellstead, Junior Vice Captain and J14 Squad Coach said: “The crew performed superbly and finished a very creditable 9th out of 58 crews entered. This is an excellent performance and places them in the top 10 crews nationally.”

Jasmine, who is in Year 9, is a member of Stratford-upon-Avon Boat Club. She was chosen from the summer school course about two and a half years ago and offered club membership (limited to around 10 people annually). Being chosen as part of the squad in this high level sculling event was a real achievement and they did themselves proud. Well done Jasmine!
