We’re delighted to announce that a number of Myton students have won prizes for their artwork exhibited in the Schools’ Art Exhibition at St Mary’s Church in Warwick.
The following students won prizes and gift vouchers:
Amandeep Bhamra won the sculpture prize.
Jake Crooks and Hannah Fardoe came first and second in the self portrait prize.
Rebecca Morris, Rebecca Clear, Jaya Gataaura and Cara Lymouth won prizes for portraiture.
Bronwyn Hansen and Callum Hansen shared the prize for architectural painting.
Myton was also awarded group prizes for photography and lino prints and we have received £100 for art materials.
Well done to all those students who had work exhibited. The judges and organisers commented that the standard of work this year was the highest ever and they paid tribute to both the talent on show and the inspirational teachers behind it. They urged all the exhibitors not to waste their talents and make time for painting, drawing and sculpting outside of the classroom.
