Dear Parents and Carers
On Wednesday evening we opened the school to potential new students and their families at our annual Open Evening. Thank you to all the families who visited and took part in the activities around the site. The evening was very popular and we’ve had some extremely positive feedback, particularly about the students who were guides for the evening and others who helped out in departments.
I’m particularly proud of Athena Louca and Zak Thomason in Year 8 (pictured below), who spoke in front of two packed audiences in Upper School Hall about their experience of moving up to Myton from primary school; and of Head Girl, Jes Dhadli and Head Boy, Manraj Sanghera who spoke so well about their experiences here over the past 6 years.
So a very big thank you to all the staff and students who helped make the evening such a success, and here is an example of what one visitor had to say about us:
“Your school is like a breath of fresh air, we found it welcoming and stimulating. All staff we encountered couldn’t do enough to be of assistance and we loved all of the activities on offer. I must say the young lady showing us around was absolutely lovely. She stayed with us for 2 hours and nothing was too much trouble for her. I look forward to making Myton our first choice.”
