Our Year 11 have had a full week of events preparing them for next steps post 16. This culminated in a ‘Dress to Impress’ day today when they came to school dressed as sixth formers. Throughout the week they have gained valuable interview experience and have been thinking about careers, they have spent time with current sixth formers during tutor group time and found out more about post 16 education.
“I have been hugely impressed by how focused and mature this year group have been,” said Head of Sixth Form, Dr Hunt. “We will continue to work with them throughout this year to ensure that they are well prepared for what comes next and that the paths they choose are well thought out and suitable for their individual needs. It has been a real pleasure to spend time with them this week.”
