A group of students from Myton School is currently taking part in the Warwickshire Year 9 Book Awards. Warwickshire Schools Library Service launched the awards with a speed dating event where the students from Warwickshire schools were asked to choose their own shortlist of 4 books to read. They then took part in a competition to write a poem about the event or one of the books. Year 9 student Grace Thompson’s poem about Ink by Alicia Broadway was chosen as a winner. Well done to Grace who won a WHSmith voucher.
