Over the past few years we have trialled a number of different ways of recognising the students who contribute to the sporting successes of Myton School. These have included whole year group assemblies and, more recently, awards evenings.
This year, we have made the decision to give out sports awards during special PE assemblies. These will recognise the numerous team and individual achievements throughout the year and will take place, for all students who are due to be recognised, during PE lessons in the Upper School Hall. Trophies, colours and certificates will be awarded to the full range of our very deserving students.
Once we have held these events, we will carry out an evaluation which will enable us to decide on the best approach going forwards as part of our review of student awards, both in and outside of school.
