Myton hosted the Warwickshire Sports Hall Athletics Competition this week, with schools from the area competing for a place in the County Schools’ Finals in April.
The competition was open to Year 7 and 8 boys and girls and Myton fielded teams in all age groups.
It was a very close competition with both Year 7 girls and boys finishing in 2nd place.
The Year 8 girls won their competition, beating King’s High School by 2 points and the Year 8 boys finished 3rd.
The 25 sports leaders from Year 9 and 10 did a super job helping officiate the event and without them the competition could not have taken place.
Well done to everyone and good luck to the team of Year 8 girls who will now compete in the County Schools’ Final for the 2nd year in succession.
