Sixth Form Forensic Investigation students were tasked with investigating a crime scene in the Science Department this week! Mr Garner and Mrs Walker discovered the crime at 13:55 hours and immediately called the team to look for evidence.
Students first designated a Lead Forensic Officer who assessed the crime scene and ensured all health and safety measures were in place to protect the integrity of the evidence. Only then were the groups given the green light to start to look for clues and collect evidence likely linked to the crime!
Students studying Forensic Investigation at Myton School Sixth Form are required to investigate a crime scene, collect and examine the evidence, and write an expert report for the jury of a court to use in their deliberations.
Our students were model Scene of Crime Officers and collected ample evidence to examine at a later date!
