Together with Autism conferences are being held to support families and anyone who wants to better understand autism and find out about local support available. The conferences will take place on the following dates:
- Saturday 29 June at North Leamington School
- Saturday 14 September at Meadow Park School, Coventry
- Saturday 9 November at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College
The conferences will feature a number of speakers from across all sectors, including autistic people, and there will be a number of workshops taking place which you can book onto including:
- Young person’s advocate panel hosting a question and answer session
- Sensory support
- Navigating the SEND (special educational needs and disability) system
- Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), how these can occur together and strategies to support
- Autism in girls
Registration for tickets will open 6 weeks before each event. Registration is now open for the event taking place on the 29 June at North Leamington School.
