During the half-term, Year 12 student Serena travelled to the Czech Republic with her water polo team for a training camp in preparation for the upcoming EU Nations tournament later this month. Serena is set to compete as part of the Great Britain Junior Women’s Water Polo Team at this prestigious event. Serena’s selection for the team highlights her dedication, hard work, and growing reputation in the sport. The European Nations Championship is a key event in the junior water polo calendar, attracting top teams from across Europe, including Germany, Slovakia, Switzerland, Ukraine, and the Czech Republic. This tournament offers young athletes a valuable chance to test their skills against elite talent, often serving as a gateway to senior international competition.
Well done Serena and good luck in the tournament!
