The Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) Programme has been extended for a further year, meaning Warwickshire County Council will be running HAF activities during Spring, Summer and Winter 2025. HAF does not currently run during half term holidays, so the next HAF programme will take place over the Easter holidays.

Frozen water warning
With the recent cold weather freezing Kingfisher Pool, please remind your children to stay off frozen rivers and lakes due to the risk of falling through the ice.
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service have issued advice below on how to avoid incidents, and what to do if something does go wrong.
Parking on site
We remind all parents and carers that we do not permit students to be dropped off or picked up from either the main school site or the Sixth Form building car park at the start or end of the school day. As there is limited parking on Myton Road, we would recommend that students arrive via foot, cycle, or use public transport. If you do have to drive to drop off or pick up your child, please park legally and respectfully on Myton Road.

End of term arrangements
A reminder that school finishes at 12.30pm on Friday 20 December. The bus companies have confirmed that they will be available at that time.
Spring term starts for students on Tuesday 7 January 2025.
Travelling to and from school
Please could parents & carers remind children of the importance of respecting members of the community before and after school.
The conduct and language of students, in school and out, reflects on them and us as a school and it is important that everyone in Myton uniform shows themselves to be kind, respectful and polite at all times.
Please reinforce this message to your child/children, particularly mentioning their conduct during their journeys to and from school.
We realise that the vast majority of Myton students behave very well at all times and are a credit to the school.
Caterers maintain 5 star hygiene rating
We are pleased to announce that our catering provider, AIP have recently maintained their 5 star hygiene rating.
Parent music survey
The Department of Education invite parents or carers of students who participate in Music Hub activities (either studying GCSE or A level music, taking part in extra-curricular vocal and music groups at Myton, or attending groups run by the county such as wind bands, orchestras etc.) to complete this survey. The aim of the survey is to explore experiences of children and young people who are involved in music making, to help the government identify ways to improve access and provision of music education in England. An information sheet can be found here.
