We are extremely grateful to have received a grant for £17,054 from the King Henry VIII Endowed Trust to enable us to replace equipment lost to RAAC. This grant will be used to purchase IT equipment and provide additional sessions for students to catch up on their learning. The support we have received from the Trust and our local community has been a true testament to the importance felt towards the education of students, who have suffered so much in recent years due to Covid and now RAAC. Further information on the work done by the King Henry VIII Endowed Trust and the grants/support they can provide can be found on their facebook page.

Reverse Advent Calendar
Year 8 students will be collecting for Leamington food bank over the next 2 weeks so that we can bring some Christmas cheer to families and people in need over this festive period. This will take the form of a reverse advent calendar. This is our opportunity extend some Christmas goodwill and show the caring side of our school community.
If you can spare some of these items over the next two weeks it would be very much appreciated.
Students should take all donations to their form tutors.
Calling all budding film makers
Try your hand at producing a documentary in this exciting competition for students. Some great prizes are up for grabs! So get your cameras out and send your entries to Mr Lowe. Any queries should also go to Mr Lowe who is excited to see what you produce!
Dining areas
We are really pleased to advise that our new catering marquee is now in place at the front of Reception. Additional seating is now available and the catering areas are detailed below together with a list of what can be purchased in each area. Well done to AiP staff and our students for their patience over these past few months.
Roadworks outside school
WCC have advised that there will be roadworks/2 way traffic lights outside the school from Thursday 7 December to Monday 11 December 2023. Please be aware that this may cause delays and you may wish to add some extra time to your journeys or use alternative routes if possible.
Consultation from the Secretary of State for Education
Please see below link to a consultation from The Rt Hon Gillian Keegan MP, Secretary of State for Education. This consultation invites parents, students and staff to give their views on minimum service levels and features the following two options:
- The first option focuses on prioritising attendance for vulnerable children and young people; exam groups; and children of critical workers.
- The second option focuses on prioritising all pupils in primary school, and priority cohorts in secondary and Further Education settings.
- The consultation also seeks to gather evidence on the impacts of strike action in higher education, and the case for minimum service levels covering this sector.
This consultation will be open for 9 weeks from 28 November 2023 – 30 January 2024.
