Home Start are looking for volunteers with parenting experience who can spare 1-2 hours a week to join their home visiting service, offering emotional, practical and parenting support in the home of families with children under the age of 5. Please see the flyer below for more information.

Open water swimming
As the warm weather approaches, we remind students of the danger of swimming in open water.
The river in St Nicholas Park is particularly popular with young people for swimming and jumping off the bridge.
Please could you discuss the danger of swimming in open water with your young person, and highlight the risks involved in this activity, which include:

Warwick District Council are holding a Biodiversity Photography Competition with the theme of ‘all things bright, beautiful, great and small’.

Art & Photography departments gain OCR Ambassador Centre status
We are pleased to announce that our Art and Photography departments have been awarded Ambassador Centre status for OCR Art and Design qualifications. From September they will provide support and advice to a group of Art departments in schools from the wider Warwickshire/East Midlands area, host face to face events at Myton to share good practice in Art education and be more directly involved in assisting OCR to improve and develop its Art and Design qualifications.
