We are excited to announce the launch of Myton Zine, a new publication run by Year 12 students. They are looking for creative writing and art contributions from students for their first issue. Students can look forward to exciting articles and competitions!

Raised funds sent to charities

Master Cadet Rhiannon
Congratulations to Rhiannon from Year 12 who recently completed her course to become a Master Cadet.
Army Cadets move through different training levels as they progress (Basic/Recruit, 1 Star, 2 Star, 3 Star, 4 Star & Master Cadet) and Rhiannon has now reached the highest level. Well done Rhiannon!

Year 8 experiment with concrete
Year 9 have been making and testing out different forms of concrete in Science lessons this week. They mixed together wood, steel and even straw to increase strength. Who says Science lessons aren’t always relevant?!

On Saturday evening, 24 students aged 11-17 together with their 3 teachers arrived at Myton School from the Kunst-und-Musikschule der Stadt Brühl in Germany, Leamington’s twin town.

Lilly impresses Warwick Lions Club members
Year 8 student Lilly visited Warwick Lions Club last week to report on her exchange trip to Brühl and to perform a piece of music on her cello. The club members were impressed with Lilly’s confidence and enthusiasm, and thought she was a great ambassador for Myton School.
