Treats for staff
Everyone was delighted this week by a surprise delivery from our Year 7 parents. A feast full of goodies, which included chocolates, donuts, crisps, cakes and drinks was provided. They even thoughtfully included gluten free choices so everyone could have a treat.
All staff were really grateful for this kind thought at the end of the term, including our catering team who do an amazing job of feeding us all throughout the year.
Thank you so much!
Design a new kneeler for St Mary’s Church
Collegiate Church of St Mary is celebrating its 900 year anniversary this year and the Beauchamp Chapel, which survived the Great Fire of Warwick celebrates its 550 year anniversary in 2025. The aim is for the new kneeler, with its locally designed covering, to be ready and in place for this anniversary.
The Beauchamp chapel is one of the finest medieval funerary chambers in the country, if not Europe. It has truly magnificent examples of medieval stained glass and statues, as well as, the local historical significance which I’m sure will inspire children thinking about their designs, as well as help their learning about history.
Details of the competition can be found here

Year 8 Cake Sale for Myton Hospice
Students in Year 8 held a cake sale this week to raise funds for Myton Hospice.
Well done to Lizzie, Eloise, Ayva, Benedita, Mia, Neve and Ailie for their charity work, which raised £182.45 for this great cause!
Staff Panto !
Staff have been busy rehearsing since September for their Panto, Beauty and the Beast, and on Wednesday they took to the stage to perform to two fully packed-out audiences! Their performances were absolutely outstanding and they clearly had the best time performing for the Myton Community with the energy in the room being electric!
So far, the Panto, which was organised and produced by Mrs Zahran, has raised and amazing £1582 for the charity Doorway and funds are still coming in from those who reserved but are yet to pay! This has been a fabulous end of term achievement!
Well done to all involved!
Myton School Celebrates Festive Business Success with Year 10 Business Studies Challenge
Warwick, December 2023 – Myton School’s Year 10 Business Studies learners recently wrapped up an exhilarating and festive enterprise challenge that brought out the entrepreneurial spirit in every participant. The competition, appropriately named the “Festive Business Extravaganza”, saw students engage in a dynamic and creative process of planning, designing and presenting their very own Christmas-themed business ideas.
After an intense competition that spanned two hours of planning, one hour of prototyping, and an hour of presentations, the triumphant team emerged: Charlie, Jayden and Daniel. Together, they wowed the judges and their peers with their “Sweetmas Christmas CupCake Business Plan”.
