We are very proud of our Sixth Form students Charlie, Alex, Luke, Sam and Oscar who recently raised an impressive £780 for Leamington Dolphins (a swimming club for children and young adults with additional needs) by organising and completing a three day hike.
They were described as “amazing young men” by the swimming club leader. We think they are too!
Our new modular building is now complete and looks great! All classes (including Photography, Art and Music) have started in there this week!
Students are returning today from a five day outdoor activity trip to Wick Court Farm in Gloucester as part of the Farms for City Children project.
They have been farmers for the week, experiencing practical and meaningful farming tasks including feeding dairy calves, herding sheep, beekeeping and grooming horses. We hope this has been a memorable trip for you all!
Our Sixth Form Student Leadership Team have been busy this week holding events to raise money for charity. These included fete style games, a bake sale, beat the goalie, form time quiz and the popular sponge a teacher! Money raised will go to charities including Mind, Helping Hands, RAilSE, Kissing it Better and Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. Thank you to the Sixth Formers who organised and ran the events and to all the students and staff who took part.
Congratulations to those Year 7 and 8 students who were rewarded for receiving the most merits throughout the year with a game of tenpin bowling last week. They also got to take a friend of their choice. Well done to you all and we hope you had fun!
A huge well done to Mark in Year 7 who was the winner of the LRC’s recent Euro 2024 reading challenge.
