Girls’ Football Activator Conference
24 students attended the FA Girls’ Football Activator Conference at Leamington Brakes FC this week. The aim of the conference was to inspire these girls as trained Football Activators, to organise and lead festivals and tournaments for primary and secondary school girls.

It has been a busy week of fixtures, with County Cup Football, Tournaments and Basketball fixtures.
In all we have had a mixed set of results, with the Year 10 boys winning their place in the District Cup final and Years 11 and 7 narrowly losing their County Cup winning streak.
The U18 girls Football team lost 0-2 against Alcester Grammar on Wednesday, a closely contested game with a younger Myton team, showing great resolve and game play against an all Sixth Form Alcester Grammar team.
The Year 7 girls drew 3 and lost just 1 game, to the eventual winners Studley, in their friendly Warwickshire tournament at Kenilworth and the Year 9 team won 1, drew 1 and lost 2 in their tournament, finishing 3rd overall.
The Year 10 girls football beat Blue Coats, Coventry 2-0 on Thursday evening.

Basketball for Annie in Year 7
Annie in Year 7 has been chosen to represent the West Midlands at the Basketball England Aspire super hub camp this month. This is made up of the top performers from the West Midlands, East Midlands and South West.

Josh and Chloe selected to play Hockey for Warwickshire
Well done to Josh and Chloe from Year 9 who have been selected to represent Warwickshire in the U14 Boys and U14 Girls hockey squads for 2024. This is the third year running for Josh!
What a fabulous achievement for you both!
Tom’s football success
Congratulations to Tom from Year 10, who after playing with Coventry City FC Academy for the last two years has now been selected for the U15 England Camp. Throughout his time with Coventry City FC Tom has regularly played up a year group, playing for the U16 team, and has captained the U15 team. Tom is awaiting further selection for a tournament in Croatia.
