Miss Arliss is a genius. Last night I watched the WINGS production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and was amazed at how many students took part. Miss Arliss has once again rewritten the script to weave in a part for everybody who auditioned. There are parts for actors, singers, musicians and dancers. There are students who run the technical support, others who provide the tickets and man the door, and those who work on the sets, bringing the total participation to well over 100 students, all supporting each other to put on the best show possible. And of course they will all be back next time because they have enjoyed this experience so much.

Congratulations to all the students involved for doing such a great job and to Myton’s Drama and Music teams for leading them so well. Thank you also to the Friends of Myton School for providing the refreshments. And of course congratulations to Miss Arliss on another great piece of work. Maybe 200 students next time?
