Dear Parents and Carers

As a former history teacher I am a big fan of all things historical, and the more horrible the better, so it was a real pleasure to go along to the Horrible Histories event in our library this week. Mrs Thompson and Mrs Drage did a fantastic job of decking out the LRC for the occasion and our very own Henry VIII (Mr Town) was a very regal quiz master. It was great to see so many students taking part; I was impressed by their enthusiasm and historical knowledge.

Now that we are in December, I’m pleased to announce the winners of our Christmas card competition. Well done to Bronwyn Hansen, Csenge Bozarov, Amandeep Bhamra and Melissa Sheldon for their festive creations. Their artwork is now featured on the 2017 official Myton School Christmas cards.
