Our Year 7 & 8 Book Club meets every Friday lunchtime in E7. They have recently been reading Running on the Roof of the World by Jess Butterworth and here is their review:
“This exiting book is set in the Tibetan mountains. Tash and Sam must travel across the mountains to seek the mystical Dalai Lama. The book is set at a time when Tibet is facing political and religious issues but the book is still easy to read. This fab book is for ages 11 to 13, though adults will also enjoy it. This book is exciting, heart-warming and adventurous and is a must read!”
