The Ogden Trust and the Physics education charity have organised for NASA astronaut Michael Foale CBE to come and visit the region on Tuesday 15 November.
Michael Foale is a British born NASA astronaut and astrophysicist who has flown on six Space Shuttle missions as well as spending time on both the MIR Space Station and the International Space Station. He was the first British born astronaut to perform a Spacewalk and he still holds the longest cumulative time in space record for a UK citizen.
The University of Warwick are hosting an hour-long event with Michael sharing his experiences of working in space. It’s taking place in their Oculus – Teaching and Learning Building, OC1.05 between 7.30-8.30pm.
