Well done to Connor Griffin in Year 13, who has won a Mary Dormer Harris Memorial Bursary. Each year the trustees of the bursary fund award a cheque to one promising Sixth Form student from various local schools with the aim of giving encouragement and support to them in their studies. Connor, who is hoping to study Neuroscience at the University of Nottingham next year, was presented with a cheque by trustee David Howe on Wednesday 22 May.
