On Tuesday 15 November some of our Year 9 and 10 students took part in a Digital Media Day where they developed media products in response to a brief. Some students elected to explore gender inequality, while others came up with games and graphics aimed at reducing obesity.
Media Studies teacher, Mr Lowe said: “Digital Media Day is a great annual event that allows students with an interest in the creative media industries to find out more about the job roles and skills required in this field as well as responding creatively to real-life tasks, set by well-known organisations such as Cancer Research and Tata Communications. It’s a national competition and I expect Myton students to do well; there were some incredible and innovative ideas generated.”
