Our thanks go to Helen Smith and Alan Coope from the charity Evelyn’s Gift who presented Myton School with a beautiful bench last week for our garden of reflection. This is an area within school where we remember those friends and students who we have sadly lost. We hope the new bench will be a peaceful place within our garden to sit and reflect.
Evelyn’s Gift is a Warwickshire based charity established in 2014 in memory of Evelyn Mary Smith, who passed away suddenly in September 2013, aged just seven years old.
Evelyn’s Gift has two objectives; to provide ‘little acts of kindness’ to people in need, and train as many people as possible in CPR and life-support skills. Further details about the charity can be found on their website.
