Congratulations to our KS3 Debate Club who have reached the semi-finals of a debating competition held at Kenilworth School this week. Topics debated included: ‘It is important for children to learn about the plays of William Shakespeare’, ‘The voting age should be lowered to 16′, There are too many languages in the world’, ‘Water is the most valuable resource’ and ‘Overall, social media is a negative influence on children’.
