We have been notified of two charities offering grants to Sixth Formers for further study or for those setting up businesses.
The Warwick Apprenticing Charity provides bursaries to students (maximum age 25) to help with the cost of further education after leaving school. This is for ‘next steps’ such as an apprenticeship, college or university study and does not need to be paid back.
The Charity Of Sir Thomas White Warwick offers interest free loans of up to £1500 per year when central government grants may not be available. The money should be paid back but is interest-free which is really helpful.
Hard copy leaflets for both are available to Year 12s and 13s in the Independent Learning Room (ILR).
Please take advantage of these opportunities but please note that applications are invited from Sixth Formers living in CV34 postcode districts only.
