A group of ambitious Year 12 Law students recently took their learning beyond the classroom, seizing incredible virtual and international work experiences.
The students took part in a prestigious immigration work experience with Fragomen Law Practice in New York, diving into the world of international immigration law. They also gained invaluable hands-on knowledge through virtual internships with Browne Jacobson and Young Professionals, engaging with top legal professionals and gaining insights into the inner workings of the industry.
One of the highlights of the experience was a session with Lady Hale, former President of the UK Supreme Court, who inspired the students with her powerful message on resilience. Her advice emphasised that success in law is built on hard work, determination, and a passion for justice – qualities that our students are already demonstrating in abundance.
Students also received expert guidance from Chrissie Wolfe and Joseph Tapsell Chapman, who shared crucial tips for navigating the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) and standing out in a competitive field.
With these students’ passion for law and commitment to their futures, they are well on their way to making a meaningful impact in the legal world. Law at Myton is more than just a subject—it’s a launching pad for the next generation of legal leader!
