On Thursday 2nd March we celebrated World Book Day in school with a non-uniform day and a range of activities including a cake sale in aid of Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, a flash fiction competition and our very own lunchtime version of Mastermind, with members of staff impressing the audience with their knowledge of specialist subjects.
Thanks to everyone who dressed up, took part in the events and helped to make the day such a success. Special thanks to our librarians, Lucy Thompson and Claire Drage, for all their work. We’ll be announcing the winners of our various competitions in next week’s newsletter.
