Mrs Fairhurst’s Year 7 RE class have been looking at British Values and thinking about mutual respect and tolerance. As part of this work they entered a competition to design and make a board game aimed at exploring some of the issues they have been discussing. Congratulations to Demi Mancini, Lucy Winkworth, Aston Sidwell, Grace Colizzi and Olivia Morley whose board games won the competition and, as a reward, they visited All Saints Primary School on Monday 18 January to play the games with children in a Year 3 class.
The visit was a great success, the younger children really enjoyed playing the games and the older students were able to explain the concepts very well. The visit ended with a Q&A session about life at secondary school.
