On Thursday this week, 30 of our Year 8 students were treated to an after-school Harry Potter experience run by our school library. They took part in various games and competitions, had a go at some scientific experiments, a musical challenge and a treasure hunt. There were even a couple of owls who made an appearance, as did the Hogwarts Express. 

The highlight of the event was a Quidditch tournament, where teams of 5 competitors nominated a seeker and then battled over possession of the snitch, riding around on their broomsticks (hockey sticks) in the Sports Hall, vying for supremacy over the hoops.

Many thanks to Mrs Thompson and Mrs Drage for organising another exciting event, all the staff and older student helpers. And a very big thank you to Mrs Jones who loaned us two of her beautiful owls.
