Year 8 students in Mr Hobbs’ Year 8 science class have had a response from the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs regarding their thoughts on recycling. The whole class wrote to various council and government departments asking for improvements to be made in how we recycle. Several consultations are out at the moment on how to improve recycling in Britain and our students’ views will hopefully be taken into account. Ben Cole, James Griffiths, Matthew Soltysiak and Amber Kelsall all wrote to Secretary of State Michael Gove and recently received a reply to their letters.
